Read books for fun, points, and prizes!

Accelerated Reader is a program where students read a book, take a multiple-choice test on a school computer, and earn points based on their test score. Cassidy recently switched to an online program called AR Enterprise. This program has a special feature called Renaissance Home Connect. Renaissance Home Connect is a fun, easy-to-use web-based interface that allows you to view your child's progress in the program from home. AR quizzes, however, must be taken on a school computer.

You can view Renaissance Home Connect from any computer with an Internet connection using these browsers:
*Internet Explorer 6.02 or later
*Firefox 1.5 or later
*Safari 2.0.3 or later
To log in to Renaissance Home Connect:

(Ask your child or his teacher to give you his user name and password.)

In additional to checking out Accelerated Reader books in the library, students may also find Accelerated Reader books in their classroom collection, at home, or at the Lexington Public Library. With this online program, students have access to more than 240,000 AR quizzes. If you want to check if a particular title has an associated AR quiz, you can go to www.renlearn.com, click on On Line Store, then do a Quiz Search.
